Digital photography using Photoshop is a wonderful medium to change or enhance your images. Changes can be made to contrast, saturation, brightness or  sharpness to give your image a different feeling. This image was captured on Kodachrome film using a Nikon FM2 camera and a Nikon 55mm Micro lens. Elecronic flash was used for illumination.

Orchid – Adjusting Colors with Digital Photography

This orchid image was taken using fill in electronic flash. Digital photography gives us the capability of correct for color shifts due to problems with color temperature, it also gives us the opportunity to correct increase the color saturation to give a more pleasing. Photoshop will also give us an opportunity to adjust the color balance of the image to suite our tase or to match the original scene.
