At Bardedjilidji there is a walk through the wetland and woodlands. Bardedjilidji in the aboriginal language has a meaning of a walking track. Bardedjilidji also refers to the roots of waterlilies growing in the swamps and billabongs along the walk. The walk follows the woodlands and wetlands along the East Alligator River in Kakadu. The walk is one of many through the Kakadu National Park. The Kakadu National Park would have to be one of the most wonderful places on Earth for photography.
